Our clubhouse and facilities are available for hire by the public for special events or functions such as birthdays, wedding receptions, christenings, meetings, fitness activities such as yoga/pilates, corporate events and many more. Here's what our clubhouse can offer at the present time:

• A large, main hall with tables and banqueting chairs (no chair covers available) and this can accommodate up to 100 people (a mixture of standing and seated)
• A smaller bar room with comfortable seating for 20
• Main hall dimensions 9.5m x 9m (lowest ceiling height 2.6m). Bar room 4.8m x 6.7m (L-shaped)
• Kitchen with a microwave, fridge, crockery, kettle, tea urn and cutlery for your use
• A well-stocked licensed pay bar that will be staffed for you by our members (see below for fees)
• A first floor clubhouse close to the river Severn and the Quarry, with spectacular views over our beautiful crown green bowling greens and gardens, and up towards the stunning town walls and cathedral of Shrewsbury.
• Convenient location in the centre of Shrewsbury, right next to the public car park of St. Julian Friars. 
• Small private car park for hirers' use

Our hire rates are very competitive. At the present time, the cost is £25.00 per hour (or part thereof) plus an additional £5.00 per hour if you require the bar for your function (to contribute towards bar running costs). There is a reduced rate for OSBC members who have been a member for over six months - please email karen.osbc@btinternet.com for further details.
